Report Section

Select in which section in the test report the result of the assesslet should be placed. If you set several assesslets to be in the a specific report section, the order in which they are shown in the report follows the order shown in the Assesslets view.

Report Section in the Common assesslet settings dialog

Top-Level

The specified assesslet lands in no specific section. It becomes its own section named like the assesslet. It is placed in the "root" report level, at the upper most location in the test report.

The exception to this is the Script assesslet where you have to configure all manually by writing the script.

Testinformation

Contains, by default, the meta information table and the Assesslet Summary table.

Signals

Contains, by default, Report Signal Table assesslets for all types of signals.

Assesslets

Contains, by default, the results of all assesslets.

You can create as many report sections as needed and they will be available in this drop-down list for all assesslets, see Assesslets - Report Section.

Folders are used to organize the assesslets in the assesslets view but they have not semantics at all, which means folders do not create any report section.
If you delete any report section assesslet, all assesslets that were originally displayed under this section will receive the top-level report section and their display location will consequently change in the report.

Report always (not only if assesslet result is failed)

This shows the assesslet results in the report no matter if they are failed, inconclusive, or passed (this checkbox is selected by default).

To prevent the report from becoming too large, you can disable the function for new assesslets by default. To do so go to Options|Preferences|General Settings and deselect the Activate "Report always (not only if assesslet result is failed)" for new assesslets checkbox, see General Settings - Assesslets.

Collapse assesslet section by default

Select this checkbox if you want the section to be shown initially as collapsed in the report. You can always use the toggle key to expand the section.

Expanded toggle section in report

The HTML report format is currently the only one that supports collapsing sections.
When using the Internet Explorer browser, open the IE settings and open the "Compatibility View settings". Deselect "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View".
